BGEVER: Stuff of Legends

Ack! My new Webcomic.

Yes, my quibbles with TLOCL are not of fandom, but as a movie.

1) By this point, I've grown accostumed to the contradiction of training/sending someone on a quest, but forbidding them off rage and/or revenge/carelessness, even though it'd end up getting being a bonus to the overarching goal. It's just that Gen, as a teacher, wasn't paid enought to really give a fuck if Chun Li disobeyed him, or got her father killed with sheer negligence, or if she straight up slaughters Bison in front of his daughter. None of this seems of concern to him, let alone the inane Interpol dude Charlie Nash. "Good Job?" YOU DON'T FUCKING KNOW HER AND SHE KILLED A GUY IN FRONT OF YOU! ARREST HER, SHE'S NOT STEVEN SEAGAL! So, hello? Small reflection on how revenge won't bring her father back? Is she not sad she just became an orphan maker! ?

2) Chun Li seemed to kill a random thug and killed Bison...WHILE THEIR GUARD WAS DOWN! Now, I'm not some flower loving hippy that thinks movie heroes should be, but Chun Li should fight and win with honor and skill. Otherwise, what makes her different from the bad guys?

3) Vega. I could stomach Taboo in the role, if it wasn't that his part was all build up...then getting his ass beaten by Chun Li. Was Vega WEAKER THAN CANTANA? WHAT THE FUCK?

4) OH, BISON! I kept expecting your softie, softieness would be a Faccade. That, even with no red military garb, you would show the arrogance and madness and ambition that has made you cool, even in admittedly lame takes on the franchise. "For me it was Tuesday" or "I killed my father too" or anything like that. Now, don't get me wrong, you do become slightly quotable. BUT WOULD YOU AT LEAST SHOW YOU'RE EVIL? Oh, I know, you killed you're wife in the caved of Ted Nugent or whatever to "rid yourself of you'r goodness/concience". Guess that's one of those "you had what you wanted all along" lessons...but of evil! But then, why is your plan so weaksauce, and why do your love your daughter? Couldn't you at least FEED on the sadness of the people you were evicting?

5) Disapointing Lesbianism.
More was needed. And who the hell dressed up Kreuk? I mean, damn! That blue crap she was wearing wouldn't even land her Homer' sister in law. No really, whoever edited this movie probably didn't like to see Lesbians...or masked men!

6) The tournament hint. No, seriously, Hyde Park, fuck you! Hinting at the movie you should have done for starters, the one about A TOURNAMENT, while not getting Ryu's(And Shadaloo also while we at it) name right is not cute.

Though the movie did have good parts, it's all ruined by the direction and some crappy plot choices.
